This is Different
The Communication Partner (CP) Training Program empowers you to work with your child differently, teaching you the expert information behind Spellers Method so that what you do is more effective. You don’t have to be tired or discouraged. You can learn to spell with your child, feel successful, and be excited about the future.
This course is also appropriate for school based communication partners learning to support an already fluent typer or speller in the classroom.
attend 8 in-depth content presentations
submit 7 videos of practice sessions with your speller
receive personalized feedback and coaching from experienced Spellers Method practitioners.
Finish with a solid understanding of how to support your nonspeaker who spells or types.
How it Works:
During this eight-week online course, registrants meet weekly, live over Zoom and have the opportunity to:
This program is a fast-paced and intensive course. It is recommended that registrants have had 1 to 3 in-person spelling sessions with a local practitioner before beginning this course, and that the speller is age 7 or older.
In addition, all registrants should have at least the set of 3 boards and the number board before the first day of class. You can purchase these letterboards online here.
